You snuck along the streets of England, stealthy in the shadows. You had 5 warm biscuits in your threadbare pockets. You had stolen them from the local bakery, much to the owner's dismay. As you ran through the alleys, you bumped into a girl. She had maroon colored hair, and humongous glasses. She was wearing a brown outing dress and was carrying a basket. You flinch as you fall, and almost fall right into a puddle of dirty water. You were already cold and, without thinking, levitated over the puddle as to not get wet.

"H-hey mister? Are you okay?" the girl asked cautiously. You righted yourself and started to back away.

"Please don't tell anyone....." you murmured quietly.

"Tell anyone about what?" she asked.

"About me. About levitation." you state nervously. Her face broke out into a wide grin.

"Quite the opposite! I was going to ask you if you wanted to join me at my master's mansion! All of his servants, including me, have special powers or abilities. Mister Sebastian can explain." she said sweetly. You thought it over for a moment. Then, you nodded. Being a servant for some duke or lord is better than living on the streets.

"Ummm, what's your name?" you asked shyly.

"Mey-Rin, but you can just call me Mey. What's yours?" Mey-Rin responded.

"(Name)" you said with a small smile.

"Well then nice to meet you (Name)!" Mey said happily.

~Time Skip~

When you reached the mansion, Mey rang the doorbell, and the door opened right away to reveal a butler. He had longish black hair and was very tall. When Mey looked at the butler, a small blush crossed her face. (Name) frowned slightly as the pain in his heart grew. A green aura surrounded him, but he didn't notice.

"(Name), this is Sebastian. He's the butler at Lord Phantomhive's mansion. Mister Sebastian, this is (Name). He a bit like Finny, as in he has special powers. (Name), show Sebastian what you can do." she said. You gulped nervously and willed yourself to levitate in the air. You floated a few inches off of the ground, then apparated behind Sebastian. Mey and Sebastian's eyes widened in surprise. You nervously drifted back down to the floor to come to a stand inside of the manor's Entrance Hall.

"Well then, Mr. (Name) what kind of household work can you do?"

From then on, you worked at the Phantomhive Manor. You did odd jobs, bought groceries, even paid back the baker you stole from. You had grown very fond of Mey-Rin, to the point that you realized that you had a crush on her. Your heart twinged in pain and jealousy every time Sebastian made her blush. You didn't hate Sebastian, you were just jealous.

One day, Ciel announced that he was hosting a ball. Along with many nobles, he was inviting his staff to the dance. This was your chance, to tell Mey that you loved her.

The next day, you went into town and bought a bouquet of roses. You hid them in your bedroom and got ready for the dance. The servants entered the dance and you approached Mey.

"Ummmm, Mey?" you murmured shyly.

"Yeah (Name)?" Mey responded cutely.

"I-i was w-wondering if, you would.........allow me, to, ummm, court you?" you stuttered nervously. A grin spread across her face.

"Of course! I was wondering when you would ask!" she squealed and glomped you. You gave her the roses and danced through the night together blissfully. That night, Mey had accidentally drunken too much wine. You carried her up to your room and tucked her in. You grabbed your spare blanket and settled in bed next to her.

"Good night, Mey." you said, and kissed her forehead.

~EXTENDED ENDING~

"AWWWWW THEY'RE ADORABLE TOGETHER! I WISH CIEL WOULD HOLD ME LIKE THAT!" Elizabeth squealed.

"Madame Lizzy, please be quiet! You can still enjoy the cuteness..............JUST QUIETLY." Finny whispered with emphasis.

Mey opened her eyes blearily and whipped off her glasses. She pulled a gun out of her dress pocket and pointed it at the door.

"Finny. Get the hell out of the room and don't come back. Same goes for you Lizzy, except I won't shoot you." she said seriously and you laughed as you both watched the two childish blondes race down the hallway.
